Wealthy Roy Logan acts suspiciously when withdrawing $1,000,000 cash and his blood on his hands, but must be released for lack of a crime. When Catherine rushes after him with his spectacles, she gets a phone-call and is shown a severed finger proving Logan's adulterous lover Amanda Freeman was kidnapped. Logan ignores her advice, almost greedily handing over the ransom without proof of life, and Amanda is found where indicated- murdered days before. Written by KGF Vissers

Did You Know?

Sarah says the finger is severed 'just below the right intercostal joint.' Costal refers to ribs, so such joints are not found in the finger. The finger was actually severed at the metacarpal phalangeal joint. See more »

A must see episode!
16 April 2011 | by (Argentina) – See all my reviews

The episode opens with a man withdrawing a million dollars at a bank with a very strange attitude. Everyone at the bank is suspicious. He manages to take the money with him, but the police stops him and takes him to the station to process. After a series of events, Katherine gets involved in a kidnapping case, following the kidnapper's orders and leaving clues behind her to be found by our CSIs, who actually find them knowing that Katherine is doing it on purpose.

The way the team works together, even Katherine working too from "inside" of the case, the twists in the plot and surprising ending make this episode worth watching.
