This is the first occasion we see Gil use American Sign Language, although he refuses to discuss the reasons for his proficiency (a deaf mother) and it is only later in the series that the scene in which he wears earplugs takes on a deeper significance (his fears that he will lose his own hearing). When Catherine and Nick figure out the ricochet bullet at the coffee house, the coffee bags say "100% Columbian." As most people know, much of the world's coffee comes from the country of Colombia, which is spelled with two O's, not an O and a U. See more »
