I'm sorry, but a bit disturbing, 1 February 2009
5/10
Author: Writer01603 from United States

Anyone think that a girl who probably shouldn't even be in prison, being raped daily, forcefully tattooed, and prostituted by her cell mate for cigarettes, a little bit disturbing. I mean really, the end, when Nick comes to her, and says don't take it with you. Excuse me, but more I think she might try to continue what her father did. She already had the abuse, the torment, the ruin of her life. To be talked to by some cop who pretty much has no clue seems kind of insipid and idiotic. I just found it hugely sickening almost. Everyone always likes to say the terrorist is evil, but a father who watches a daughter lose her being, very well could act as he acted. Was it right? No. Was it understandable? Yes. In hands outside of Quentin Tarantino, who trivializes so much seriousness in film, could've probably been examined in more depth. Maybe I'm just getting more empathetic the older I get, but that's my opinion.
