A guy is out working on his motorbike in the garage at 4 a.m., with "two hot chicks" inside. What's with that" asks Grissom. The dead man bled out from a stab wound in his leg. Gil, Warrick, Sara and Greg are all on this case.

In the second case, Nick, Catherine and Sophia find a dead woman lying on top of her parked car in a ramp. Killed with her own car in her own parking space? Another mystery.

The first story gets more play and is the more interesting of the two. It turns out one of the "hot chicks" is the other one's mother!! It gets a bit complicated and a little sordid, but it does explain why the daughter has a hard time holding on to boyfriends.
