Sgt Getraer tells Ponch that his mother is flying into LAX on the 4.40 from Chicago. Yet Ponch goes to pick her up from Hollywood Burbank Airport.
During the second car chase Cahill picks up the radio but does not press the button when speaking to the dispatcher. Also, she identifies herself as "7-Mary-Charles." Mary is the designation for a Motorcycle unit, she should have identified as "7-Charles."
Ponch picks up his mother in his car which was damaged at the end of the earlier "Down Time". While the outside of the car shows the paint was burned of the outside of the car, the interior is remarkably undamaged. What's more, given the amount of fire shown when it was being burned, it should have been a total loss.
The footage of Ponch and Jon riding through downtown at the beginning was reused at about the 30 minute mark. One can tell as the same distinctive Citreon sedan can be seen behind them at both times.
In closeup shots of the CHP partners riding side by side and speaking the squeaking sound of the trailer that carries the cycles for these shots is clearly audible. It is also revealing that both cycles appear to bounce in absolute tandem when the trailer goes over a bump in the road.
During the opening credits, Poncherello is misspelled "Poncharello" when "Anna Navarro as Mrs. Poncharello" is shown.
