During the pursuit of the blue off road vehicle, the roads are alternately wet and dry.
When Poncherello tests the "blind" dog at the park, the dog can obviously see as it does not run into the trash can but instead goes around it.
In pursuing the suspect outside the theater, the deputy turns the dog loose even though it had no particular scent to track. Despite this, the dog goes right to the suspect. This takes place again in the final pursuit. The deputy runs the dog past the suspect's vehicle and right into the warehouse. The proper method would be to get the suspect's scent from the vehicle and track him from there.
During the chase at the end, the blue Scout crashes through some wooden crates in a warehouse parking lot. In the shot of it breaking through the crates there is no one driving the vehicle.
When Baker tells Poncherello he is needed on duty tomorrow due to the CHP being shorthanded, Baker says three kilos of cocaine were stolen during the last Vegas bus robbery. Baker adds the information came from Nevada narcotics. Since the robbers were hitting the bus on the way to Nevada before the gamblers spent their money, Nevada narcotics would have no information on the drugs on board.
While robbing the bus passengers, neither of the robbers ever display a weapon. One makes an attempt by holding his finger inside the top of his shirt. It is unlikely this would intimidate anyone.
When Ponch and Jenny respond to the bomb threat at the theatre, there are civilians standing alongside the police near the entrance to the theater. At no point do the CHP officers make any attempt to move the crowd back to a safe distance, even after the bomb explodes inside the theater.
