After the initial pursuit, Jon and Ponch practice terrible officer safety techniques. Officers are trained to deal with armed suspects by an equal or greater use of force and to not allow suspects to stand behind them. A Sequel Of Last Season's Episode Karate
9 August 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

In the episode entitled A Threat Of War,a gang leader challenges Ponch to a karate match.

Off duty, Ponch and Jon at the Oak Street Youth Center.Andy challenges Ponch to a karate fight "by the rules" in the ring. Nobody's sure if Andy's doing it for "fair or foul." Ponch shows up to the fight like everyone knew he would. When the fight ends, they end up calling it a tie.

That night, when Jon and Ponch were on a double date,Andy shows up and talks to them. When Andy leaves, Billy hits him with a van. Ponch chases him in his own car but he gets away. When Ponch brings his date home, they find the house ransacked. The next day, Billy and his gang. Jon and Ponch show up in Ponch's car. Jon tells them to drop their weapons and they do. But then they start to karate fight. The gang are no match for them of course.

The episode is the sequel of the episode,Karate, which was shown in season 4.It contains two flashback scenes. The first is where Billy resists arrest and beats up Baricza. The second is where Ponch and Andy start street fighting. This bring a lot of excitement especially for viewers of the show who are into martial arts.
