Storyline

Buffy and the gang are looking for the loose demon-human-machine composite amoral killer Adam which professor Maggie Walsh created as ultimate soldier, but find only the corps of a demon he skinned and dissected just like a human boy before. They were about to brave the Initiative's military base to get Riley back, but he already walked out, recovering reasonably from a stab wound he got when Adam broke in, however in even more painful doubt about his future and purpose now the military logic of just following orders is discredited. In hospital, the evil-turned slayer Faith wakes up after months of coma and a series of nightmares, mostly with Buffy as her enemy; she escapes and sees the Mayor's posthumous tape, which comes with an object to encourage Faith to 'go with a bang' fighting Buffy, to which end she breaks in at ma Joyce Summers's home... Trivia

Joss Whedon reportedly planned plot lines months, or years in advance. In the opening dialogue between Faith and Buffy, Faith mentions that Buffy has to get ready for "little sis" to arrive, foreshadowing the arrival of the character of Dawn in Season 5. See more »

Goofs

After the cops arrive, Buffy chases Faith and we see Buffy turn a corner and run along the walkway. Cut to a long shot of Faith running and we see Buffy make the same turn only to run across the grass. See more »

Faith Is Back Seeking for Revenge
15 August 2006 | by (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) – See all my reviews

Faith wakes up from a long and deep coma having nightmares with Buffy. She goes to Sunnydale looking for revenge. Meanwhile, Riley leaves the facility and meets Buffy. While trying to find Adam, Buffy, Xander and Willow find a demon dissected by him in the woods. Faith arrests Joyce, and Buffy fights with Faith to save her mother. In the end, Faith uses a charm in her hand and they switch bodies.

I like the character Faith a lot, but this episode is very weak and limited to the nightmares of Faith. The stunts make a good job in the battle between the strong slayers, destroying Joyce's house. The sequel seems to be interesting. My vote is six.
