It's Dawn's first day at the newly re-opened Sunnydale High School, and it's just like old times for Buffy as some undead students rise up and blame the Slayer for failing to protect them. Dawn and Buffy, together with some of Dawn's new friends, join together to defeat the evil. Meanwhile, the newly-ensouled Spike is seeking solace in the basement of the new school, and Willow is progressing in her rehabilitation with Giles in England. Written by

The First appears to Spike in the form of the Big Bads of the past seasons in reverse order -- Warren (Season 6), Glory (Season 5), Adam (Season 4), Mayor Wilkins (Season 3), Drusilla (Season 2), The Master (Season 1) -- and finally as Buffy. This shot of pseudo-Buffy is used as the last shot of the opening titles for season 7. See more
