  [kicks him in the groin then turns and starts walking away]

• [Angelus has just grabbed Willow] 

  Xander Harris : Don't do that!

  Angelus : Oh, I think I do that!

  Willow Rosenberg : Angel!

  Jenny Calendar : He's not Angel any more. Are you?

  Angelus : Wrong. I am Angel... at last.

  Xander Harris : Oh, my God.

  Angelus : I got a message for Buffy.

  Buffy Summers : [off-screen behing Angel]  Why don't you give it to me yourself?

  Buffy Summers : [turns around]  Well, it's not really the kind of message you tell. It sort of involves finding the bodies of all your friends.

• [Buffy doesn't know Angel has lost his soul] 

  Buffy Summers : But you didn't say anything. You just left.

  Angelus : Yeah. Like I really wanted to stick around after that.

  Buffy Summers : What?

  Angelus : You got a lot to learn about men, kiddo. Although I guess you proved that last night.

  Buffy Summers : What are you saying?

  Angelus : Let's not make an issue out of it, okay? In fact, let's not talk about it at all. It happened.

  Buffy Summers : I-I don't understand... Was it m-me? Was I not good?

  Angelus : [laughs]  You were great. Really. I thought you were a pro.

  Buffy Summers : How can you say this to me?

  Angelus : Lighten up. It was a good time. It doesn't mean like we have to make a big deal.

  Buffy Summers : It *is* a big deal!

  Angelus : It's what? Bells ringing? Fireworks? A dulcet choir of pretty little birdies?

  [laughs] 

  Angelus : Come on, Buffy. It's not like I've never been there before.

  [Angelus tries to touch Buffy's face but she jumps back] 

  Buffy Summers : Don't touch me.

  Angelus : I should've known you wouldn't be able to handle it.

  [tuns to leave] 

  Buffy Summers : Angel!

  [he stops and faces her as she cries] 

  Buffy Summers : I love you.

  Angelus : Love you, too.

  [he turns away] 

  Angelus : I'll call you.

• Willow Rosenberg : Do you think he's dead?

  Buffy Summers : We can't be sure. Pick up the pieces and keep them separate.

  Cordelia Chase : Pieces? We get the pieces. Our job sucks!

• Buffy Summers : Angel, there must be some part of you inside that still remembers who are.

  Angelus : Dream on, schoolgirl. Your boyfriend is dead. And you're all gonna join him.
