User Reviews

A very enjoyable episode (particularly for fans of Col. Deering!).
6 March 2008 | by (Hampshire, England) – See all my reviews

Fans of Erin Grey rejoice, for this episode of Buck Rogers sees the incomparable Col. Wilma Deering at her most sexy, donning a blonde wig, hot pants, and a cropped top to go undercover to assist Buck in the defection of two intergalactic athletes (one of whom is an attractive woman—natch!).

Not only do we get to see the gorgeous Ms. Grey swanning around in one of her most revealing get-ups of the series, but we are also treated to plenty of camp action in the form of some ridiculous 25th century sports: boxing using 'laser' gloves, 'virtual' martial arts, a steroid-assisted standing high jump, and the astro-sled (which is like a toboggan in space, but using force-fields instead of ice!).

Other umissabble treats in this episode include a silly attempt on Buck's life using a weapon called the Lozerian ice cloud, an indescribable amount of sparkly gold costumes (much more than I seem to recall in an average episode), a bad guy who is irresistibly drawn to women, and a character whose name sounds suspiciously like Durex!
