To the Rescue
Prismark1015 February 2024
Major Percy is bleeding the farmers of Savannah, South Carolina dry. They have to sell their crops cheaply to him who sends it back to England and sells it at a profit.

The farmers cannot bypass Major Percy. If they do, there goods will be forfeited and a big fine to pay.

Captain Dan Tempest decides to help out local farmer Louis Brion. He fails and Major Percy forfeits Brions crop. Brion has the chance to tell Percy who was his accomplice but Brion keeps quiet.

Major Percy wants the confiscated goods to be quickly shipped to England. Captain Barker is tasked for the job. In order to get a crew together, he press gangs Armando, Taff and Gaff Guernsey.

Armando manages to escape but Captain Tempest sends him back. He has an idea to rescue his men and get the goods. They just need to scuttle Captain Barker's ship.

It was a risky move by Tempest. Barker and his loyal men try to take over the Sultana. Once again I suspect the writer was a blacklisted American writer with the anti British slant regarding colonial America.
