Bronco in prison

The most entire story takes place in prison whilst our lieutenant Bronco visits the wife of a racketeer he himself sent in the can. And at the same time, a riot explodes, where a bunch of inmates take advantage of one of them getting a gun which he prepared for his own escape. The most improbable thing here is that NONE of the inmates, including the most dangerous, were aware of the escape attempt of the one who got the hidden gun. And, as soon as the lonely convict kills a warden, the other react as if they waited for this, in the second. I guess that, in reality, they would have been at least a few seconds where the whole bunch would have hesitated before deciding to try an escape. You have here Bradford Dillman as a tough convict, one of the leaders of the group of riot men. And the most fun is that, among the prisoners trying to negociate whilst taking guards and Bronk as hostages, you have both men and women inmates. "New" prisoners being Bronk who at their turn trying to escape with the same meanings as the true convicts !!! Terrific unusual scheme.

Good solid story, but that's not RIOT IN CELL BLOCK 11 nor THE LAST MILE...
