Storyline

Bronco rides over a small hill to see his Seminole friends, Princess Natula and John Jumper, surrounded by a group of men in front of the barn with a noose around the neck of Jumper. He fires a shot, rides in, and stops the lynching. There are ashes smoldering from the house that has been burned. The men tell Bronco they will not put with having Indians living among them. Bronco grabs the leader of the group promising to kill him and others if they attack. He asks how many of them fought for the CSA which is almost everyone. He tells them that Natula is a Seminole Princess. He proceeds telling them the story of her and her husband John during the war. General Blunt of the Federal Army had offered her and the Yale educated Creek Greywolf a promise to reunite their people in Florida. They were to trick the CSA into helping them reach Florida where they can present their offers to their people but Natula had a change of heart. Bronco was their guide who Greywolf planned to kill.
