Storyline

Bronco has accepted the job of Sheriff of Cottonwood. As he arrives outside town three citizens greet him with a grave with his name on it. Once in town he talks to the current Sheriff and Mayor. He learns Cottonwood is under the thumb of Saul Garnet and his brother Dave who own the saloon. There has been several killings and the town founders have lost control. Bronco asks to hire some men he knows as deputies who happen to be gunfighters with bad reputations. The town is accepting of them after they clean out the Garnet gang but Aaron Lake is unhappy when the young Jamie Ringgold (Johnny Ringo's son) takes an interest in his daughter Marcy. When Jamie kills Dave Garnet, his brother vows vengeance on the town just as the three deputies are planning to settle in Cottonwood. Written by Anonymous
