A kid gets away with vehicular homicide because the woman who saw him had Alzheimers. Schmidt laid into her really harshly, even though it was obvious she was a solid witness. Alan has night terrors and almost jumps off his 14th story balcony. He makes a deal with his new secretary to be with him. And a plastic surgeon is found to be using butt fat to do lip enhancements. The final scenes are striking, especially as one relates to Schmidt's father.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode has everything you could ask for from Boston Legal. Alan has night terrors, which lead to dangerous somnambulance. He solicits the help of Melissa, his latest assistant. Denny gets a medical checkup to determine whether his Alzheimer's has gotten worse. Shirley faces an ethical dilemma, ultimately doing what she has to do - and hating herself for it. And because this is Boston Legal, comedic drama at its best, Denise deals with a case which tickles our funny bones: a cosmetic surgeon who uses fat from his own posterior in his patients.
Gripping at times, tender at times, hilarious at times but always engrossing; this is one of the most memorable episodes of Boston Legal. This is surprising, really, given that the best moments of the show overall are when Alan is giving his closing arguments, and he doesn't do that here.
