Trivia

When Angela says "You just gotta ride it out, like an earthquake." You can see that the words "like an earthquake" were added in post-production. She appears to be saying "like a hurricane." Given that this episode aired just a few weeks after hurricane Katrina devastated the southern Gulf coast of the US in August, 2005. See more »

Goofs

Brennan moves her hands from her hips and folds her arms while talking with Mrs. Masruk. But her reflection behind Mrs. Masruk (reverse angle) shows her hands still on her hips. See more »

Quotes

Dr. Jack Hodgins: [after ranting about the FBI] Someone here's really defensive about the FBI lately. You realize Booth is just another government stooge.
Dr. Temperance Brennan: This has nothing to do with Booth.
Special Agent Seeley Booth: [Booth arrives and clears his throat] I don't enjoy having squints on my team any more than you like me on yours. But you know, we're *supposed* to be working together, okay?

The Chemistry has already started
9 July 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

As far as the story line goes, there's nothing unusual or exciting there. Conclusions are drawn that the Muslim who blew up was a terrorist...

The chemistry between Booth and Brennan is there already. They work closely together with romantic tension that makes them argue (love the B & B arguments!) Angela goes out of her way to encourage they take their relationship to the next level. Unfortunately, we'll endure years of romantic tension before it explodes...

The ending with B & B is a bit sad - neither is happy and neither wants to leave the other. Of course, they do.

I like Zack in these beginning episodes. He gets a bit creepy in the third season. The other squints just seem a bit disjointed from each other, but eventually they all get close...
