Quotes

Paiute Scroggs: Think I'll mosey along.
Flint Johnson: You too?
Paiute Scroggs: Mr. Johnson, I'm an old man. I wouldn't be of no use in a shootin' match with those crazy Cartwrights.

Three men ride onto a farm to ask the woman for something to drink. Before they leave, one of the men kills the woman when she objected to his advances. Now all three are being hunted down by a posse - a hanging posse!

The leader, selected by the deputy of Virginia City, is an old mountain man who has his own beliefs in justice. He believes in killing them where they stand. He convinces many of the men in the posse that it's the only way to make sure the men get what they want.

Little Joe and Adam are the two main Cartwright's in this episode. Ben and Hoss are seen only for a moment at the beginning of the episode. Adam and Joe get very uncomfortable in this posse, and for good reason.

This episode is very good as the tension builds up. One by one, the "bad" guys are killed, much to the horror of Little Joe and Adam. Then only one remains alive...and he has a shocking confession to make.

Three dead, one arrested. Several members of the posse will be investigated for possible charges of murder.
