This is a very good episode of Bonanza, which features Robert Walker, Jr. as the gentle brother of a rough cowhand who is trying to make money by capturing and breaking wild horses for the Army.
Unfortunately for them, Ben Cartwright has the monopoly on selling horses to the local Army representative, so Walker's brother, Cole (played by Pat Conway) gets upset about it. At some point he roughs up his younger brother, Walker; and he beats Walker's favorite horse. It all leads to a story about brother versus brother.
The other element in the story is the Army's representative is staying at the Ponderosa along with his beautiful daughter, Lana Wood (Natalie Wood's sister). She despises cowards because her husband got killed running away from a battle. She sees Walker as gutless and tells him so. Lots of conflict and confrontation in this episode.
Surprisingly, only Ben and Hoss are in it. Even though the story focused on Walker, it would have been cool to see Little Joe provide his perspective on things!
