My Personal Favorite Episode
8 January 2007 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

"My Son, My Son" (1964) is my favorite Bonanza episode. In this episode Ben plans to marry widow and old friend, Katherine Saunders (played by the lovely and talented Academy Award winner Tersesa Wright). However, their wedding plans are threatened when Katherine's young son, Eden (played by Dee Polluck)returns. Eden had previously been acquitted of murder and now with a posse in chase, has been accused of murdering his former girlfriend.

Good action and suspense during the whole episode. Fine performances by Wright and Polluck as mother and son.

Wright who was 45 when she played the role of Katherine Saunders, looks fantastic. Her face is radiant.
