User Reviews

war adventure drama

This story takes place in 1943 in the South of France. James Franciscus is a jailed counterfeiter whose escape is made easy by the authorities to ask him to get back plates for making forged dollar notes, which could jeopardize US economic war efforts. Our lead Franciscus must infiltrate resistance - underground fighters - in order to succeed in his task. Not very surprising time waster but good enough to keep you awake for forty five minutes. Except for the very downbeat ending, which I loved so much.

One more time, German soldiers are shown here as perfect pricks.

Directed by a specialist TV film maker.
