OVER and OVER again I see sites that mention 'Carol Henning' as playing 'Olive Sturgess' on this show.
Wrong, WRONG, WRROOONGGGG!!!! The character of Carol Henning was played by Olive Sturgess (Sturges, Sturgis). Confusion is apparently because the CHARACTER Carol Henning was named after Producer Paul Henning's daughter, who did later go on to have an acting career.
PLEASE SOMEONE FIX THIS. It drives me NUTS, and it has propagated to numerous other sites.
Oh, and this is one of my all-time FAVORITE shows. Look up Dwayne Hickman's website and e-mail him - super nice guy.
