The Bob Cummings Show: Bob and the Ravisning Realtor is sexy and funny
28 October 2006 | by (Baton Rouge, La.) – See all my reviews

Bob's sister Margaret is prepared to sell the house after her only son has left for college. Only one problem: Bob doesn't want to leave! Since the Realtor is a ravishing blonde, Bob tries to seduce her by putting wine in her root beer. The blonde Realtor is on to him, however, and pours her drink away when Bob isn't looking so Collins ends up drunk! The next morning, as Margaret is showing potential buyers The Druckers the house, Bob sabotages the deal by convincing them the house has termites inside. The Realtor decides to get an exterminator but Bob cuts to the chase and has his buddy Harvey pose as one to fool her. Despite not really believing anything Bob has done, she agrees to have dinner with him because, as she explains to Margaret after Bob leaves, "Well, I'm a pretty girl, and he's a handsome man so why not?" or words to that effect. Elena Verdugo is sexy and funny as the Realtor and has great chemistry with Cummings. By the way, the husband in the Drucker couple is named Sam, not a big coincidence to the character named in Petticoat Junction and Green Acres since this episode and others in The Bob Cummings Show was written by PJ and GA's creator and/or producer Paul Henning.
