Manny gets the job.
21 November 2015 | by (Swansea, United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Manny turns up at Fran's gift shop, explaining that he's got a job with Bernard at Black Books. Bernard is unaware he's hired Manny, having been horrendously drunk when he offered him the job. Manny's given a one day trial, he's given the rules of the shop. Manny's suggestions for improvements to the shop don't go down well, and when he sells a load of books Bernard has no other option then to let him go, until Fran steps in.

Drunken Irishman in a comedy, it's a winner for me! I love the premise, I love the trio of main actors, the show was an absolute winner, this was a great episode, fun gags, especially the mobile phone and the angry customer.

Great script, slick delivery and great timing, excellent episode 9/10
