Middle Eastern king Kusari is visiting New York and Jaime Sommers poses as his new social secretary to foil an assassination plot. Unfortunately the foreign agents recognize Jaime and try to get rid of her. Sommers teams up with the chief of protocol Sam Sloan, who also happens to be a self indulgent lady killer. Sloan comes to think the assassination attempts are meant for him because of his gambling debts. Written by

The stock footage of New York city shown during the opening credits appears to date to 1970 as 2 New York Plaza (completed in 1971) is shown under construction with approximately 20 floors complete. An empty foundation appears where 55 Water Street would later be constructed (completed in 1972.) See more
If everything that was to be used for the King's visit would be inspected before it would be allowed near the King, then the camera would be searched, also, and the suspiciously-empty film chamber with the unnecessary-for-photography metal gun-holding brackets inside it would have been discovered, even if the gun itself was not presently mounted inside the brackets.
