Trivia

This was the final regular appearance of DS Ted Roach (Tony Scannell), although he later guest starred in The Bill: Old Enemies (2000) and The Bill: New Friends (2000) in 2000 as a private investigator. In 2004, Ted died off-screen in a hit-and-run accident and Meadows, Cryer and Peters attended his funeral in The Bill: 248: Last Orders (2004). See more »

Quotes

Insp. Monroe: ...so do me a favour sergeant and act like a grown-up for once.
D.S. Roach: Grown-up? Oh you'd know all about that, huh? Only I always thought it was little boys who needed uniforms with shiny buttons to make them feel big, Inspector.
