A good storyline, with more going on than meets the eye, some nice characters, plus a chance to see Garfield and Quinnan in luminous cycling shorts.
You wonder where Brownlow gets his ideas from, an initiative is working well, his response to cancel it quickly.
The show had a great back of finding talent, and using it, here we have two familiar faces, Steven Mackintosh is cracking as young scrote Tony, as is Roberta Taylor who plays Angie, she would later be synonymous with fans of the show, Inspector Gina Gold.
It's do funny to think that car radios cost a few hundred quid back in 1990, amazing how some items totally change with time, a Millennial would be bemused.
