Carver and Woods are on hand to witness a robbery in broad daylight, a young girl walking from a Chinese takeaway with the banking is mugged, Stamp and Stringer look after a couple of drunks at a pub. Two drunken men arrested at a pub cause mayhem for Loxton.
There's a definitely, unpleasant flavour about this episode, two concurring stories, with one theme, theft. Theft on a small scale, theft on a larger scale.
The story of the takeaway is a really good one, you have to feel so sorry for the young girl.
I'm not a huge fan of Loxton, and never have been, but I've always thought of him as being a straight down the line, honest guy. He's no stranger to trouble.
Reg Hollis at his worst here, he loves a bit of drama, and loves stirring things, he's in his oils. Monroe on the other hand, is becoming my favourite character, he seemed like such a monster initially, now though he's always the one to sort everyone out.
A good watch, 8/10.
