A useless stand-up comedian is assaulted on stage, and an elderly man in care is badly assaulted.
This switches from humorous to bleak in minutes, nought to sixty in very quick time, the opening is light and pretty amusing, the latter parts of this episode are very bleak.
This is quite a sickening story, for anyone that's in care, or has a relative or loved one in care, this is one to give you nightmares.
People do the most extraordinary things when provoked and pushed, and unfortunately people are capable of the most awful of crimes.
A good episode for Liz Rawton once again, flying the flag solo in CID.
