Emma Groves, a Nurse, is hit by a car which doesn't stop, in the frame is former best friend Paula Ryan, bad blood exists between the two as Emma seemingly stole Paula's boyfriend Michael Tamlin.
It is a very fine watch, it's a very gritty episode, it's very well written with some great characters, it is one of those where you're made to wait to learn the truth. I do enjoy an episode where they deal with the foibles of the middle classes.
Juke is the fantastic, dodgy Solicitor of Paula Ryan, Stephen Greif is awesome, the trouble is that he overtakes it a little bit.
There are some great scenes between June and Meadows, not many people have been able to rile Jack, Juke certainly does.
Paula makes a very valid point, how can you be obsessed with someone you don't even like, a very poignant sentiment.
The show is definitely changing, the stories, even the language feel very different, it feels as if some of its gritty side is vanishing a little, maybe that's to do with the absence of Ted, and the now almost invisible Burnside, I am missing seeing him.
