Pearce and Carver arrest a guy who's supposedly pinched his delivery of kitchen goods, Cathy encounters a young girl who's sleeping rough, and been assaulted.
Two very good, solid stories running side by side, you have to feel incredibly sorry for young Alison, her mother really is a total monster, where on Earth would someone in her situation go?
I enjoyed the story of mixed up identity, you can totally understand Finch's total irritation, Danny and Jim were a little cocky towards him. As always though birds of a feather....
Always great to see Mrs McCarthy herself, the wonderful, beautifully spoken Sorcha Cusack, and of course there's the wonderful Philip Glenister, one of the best.
