DS Ted Roach is put in charge of the incident room, as the team are on the hunt for a killer, of two children.
It's quite a dark running theme, a grizzly topic, and it surprises me that it was transmitted pre watershed.
I liked Roach, blunt and fiery, the Irishman was the quintessential bull in a China shop, as always though it's Burnside that has me gripped, I absolutely adored Chris Ellison, every time he appeared, he steals the screen. We know him for being the hard man, here we get to see a more sensitive side to him.
I thought Lynne Pearson was very good here as the grieving mum.
To fully understand the events of this episode, you need to have previously watched both Canley Fields, and a Fresh Start, both episodes precede the events here.
It's interesting how varied the stories are, this is totally different to the previous episode, so much variety, very good, 8/10.
