A regular Othello

Frontier tycoon Simon Oakland decides to take the family, in fact it's his second family wife Nancy Malone and son Kelly Corcoran on a trip to Stockton. He's got business with the Barkleys, but it's hostile business as he buys up a spread next to them and dams up a creek that feeds the Barkley herds. Oakland won't say why publicly.

Even back in the frontier days there was such a thing as attorney/client privilege and Richard Long has been retained by Nancy Malone on a matter he cannot discuss. Oakland assumes Malone is two timing him with Long.

It's not true, but Oakland thinks it is and that's just as bad. The truth is not very pleasant either for Oakland.

Simon Oakland stands out in this Big Valley story.
