Someone please tell the Barkleys to quit going to Mexico.
29 January 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I have never understood why the Barkleys kept going to Mexico. Every time one of them made the trip something bad always happened. And in this two part episode it will prove no different.

To shorten the plot there are two sides of the Mexican Revolution. Diaz which is considered part of the government in Mexico and General Ruiz who is a revolutionary that is the good guy in this show since the Barkley's are backing him. Well when Heath goes to Rio Blanco Mexico, he gets arrested and used as a bargaining chip to make the Barkley's hand over Ruiz.

Ruiz agrees to go with Jarrod and Nick to rescue Heath -but Heath already has a good Samaritan in Rio Blanco that has helped him escape the jail. But it will prove much more difficult to get out of Rio Blanco than Heath thinks.

This was a weak script. The characters and the stereotypes were almost comical. There is one scene when a supposed drunk comes into the same jail with Heath. If you close your eyes you will swear it was Speedy Gonzales. The staged fighting and shootouts were just as bad as the actors looked as if they really did not have their heart into the performance. We do get to see Jarrod and Nick posing as Mexican peasants with their straight hair and large sombreros that is more humorous than entertaining. With so many scenes that had little to do with the story- this may have been better in a one hour format. It just never gain interest.
