Episode complete credited cast:
Darrin Stephens (credit only)

After years of trying to break up Samantha's and Darrin's marriage, the Witches Council finally has had enough and strips Sam of her powers. Uncle Arthur and Serena arrive the next day and show their support. Unfortunately, they too are stripped of their powers and eventually get a crash course in living as mortals to the point of taking a job at a snack bar, with disastrous results. Sam then goes to the council to make her case, even comparing them to the judges in Salem. Will Sam, Arthur and Serena get their powers back, or will they live as mortals permanently? Did You Know?

Darrin (Dick York) is seen in bed at the start of "Samantha's Power Failure" (possibly a stunt double). However, he is not seen later in the show when Samantha loses her witch powers which seems implausible. Dick York's medical condition resulted in his character being omitted for several shows near the end of the fifth season. See more »
