Tabitha is at a stage in her childhood where she doesn't want to eat anything. Without telling Samantha or Darrin, Esmeralda decides to do a noble deed by placing a spell on Tabitha's glass of milk, the spell designed to make a growing Tabitha eat her food after she drinks the milk. Esmeralda is aghast when she sees Samantha drink the glass of milk instead. The result is that Samantha starts devouring everything in sight. Not wanting to face the wrath of either Samantha or Darrin, Esmeralda wants to cure her before she tells them of her boo boo. As such, Esmeralda goes to the apothecary for him to develop a cure, an action which in and of itself has its own consequences for Esmeralda. Meanwhile, Samantha knows that there is something wrong with her, self diagnosing it as a virus causing voracious ravenousitis, which requires the help of Dr. Bombay to cure.
