This was filmed on September 10, 1965, during the final month of Elizabeth Montgomery's real-life pregnancy. This was the last episode filmed before Montgomery went on maternity leave to have her son, Robert Asher on 5th October 1965.
There are two references that are lost on most contemporary viewers. When Darrin was acting childish and is asked by the client to get into his "Dr. Denton's," it is a reference to a then popular brand of "blanket sleepers" or what people today would call "footie pajamas"--one-piece pajamas with the feet at the bottom for young children. The Dr. Denton brand was popular from the late 19th century through the first half of the 20th century and the brand name was so well known, it became a genericized trademark.
The other reference is more obscure. When the toy salesman asks Darrin why he wanted to buy all twenty-four teddy bears, Darrin replies, "We're having a picnic." This is a reference to a children's song, "The Teddy Bears' Picnic" originally written in 1907 with lyrics added in 1932. It has been recorded by several artists including Bing Crosby, Anne Murray, and Jerry Garcia.

Endora purposely bungles Darrin's name again. This time twice. In order: Durwood; Darwin.
While he appeared as an extra in many earlier episodes, this is the only acting credit for Lon Bentley.
