Gladys Kravitz treats Sam much more politely when a women's committee needs a new pigeon to head the entertainment committee for a hospital benefit. With only $50 to work with, she hires a broken down alcoholic magician to perform. After a couple of tricks to cut down on his drinking, she has to give his magic a boost at the show.
