Samantha and Darrin have decided to bring Tabatha up on the notion of a mortal Halloween, which also means her first ever trick or treating experience in costume. To get Tabatha to sleep on the night before Halloween, Samantha reads a Halloween story to her, that story which contains a magical goblin, gremlin and Jack O'Lantern. Although Samantha believes the story has gotten Tabatha to sleep, it has instead got her excited about new friends, the gremlin, goblin and Jack O'Lantern which she zaps out of the book into real life. On Halloween night, Samantha takes Tabatha out trick or treating while Darrin stays at home. Tabatha's three new friends join Samantha and Tabatha, Samantha who believes they are just three mortal children. When Samantha finds out that the three are creatures out of the book - after which they've caused some mischief in the neighborhood with their magic - Samantha has to get them all home and get Tabatha to put them back in the book. Complications ensue when ... Written by Huggo

Delightful Spooky Costumes
31 October 2015 | by See all my reviews

Tabitha zaps three spooks out of her storybook to play and they end up going trick-or-treating with Tabitha and Samantha.

Samantha wonders why Tabitha keeps using her powers for mischief until she sees the missing pictures in the storybook.

Completely by chance, Gladys Kravitz' nephew, Tommy, is dressed in a very similar fashion as one of the characters and the two get confused.

Samantha brings Tommy home and Gladys ends up with the jack o'lantern character.

The three storybook characters, all played by actual little people, which then would set them apart, believe it or not, when alongside the child Tommy.

When I was little, I especially enjoyed the characters themselves, a gremlin, a goblin and the jack o'lantern.

The gremlin is a little elf figure, the goblin is the truly intriguing one as the shaggy grey figure and the jack o'lantern is a pumpkin head on a ghost sheet.

Perhaps one of the few times Larry and Louise Tate crossed paths with Gladys Kravitz (Sandra Gould), so this means they never met Allyce Pearce.

Delightful seeing the old trick-or-treating with neighborhood children as well.
