Storyline

After David proposes marriage to Donna, both of them contemplate the matter and finally make a big decision. With Janet's career as a junior editor for the new owner of the Beverly Beat taking off, Steve become conflicted about being an unemployed stay-at-home father for baby Maddy. Kelly, while trying to open her independent public relations company, must make her own final decision on marrying Matt to console him after he learns that his brother in New York has suddenly died, and an uncertain-of-himself Dylan after he gets his college diploma. When Kelly tells Matt that she cannot marry him out of uncertainty, he lets the slip about his one-night stand during the desert road trip. Also, Noah contemplates commitment to Ellen and her daughter, but when he feels he's not ready, he breaks up with Ellen for good. Written by Anonymous

Quotes

Kelly Taylor: Why didn't you tell me about "Amy"?
Dylan McKay: It was none of my business.
Kelly Taylor: You lied for him. You lied to me.
Dylan McKay: Yeah. But if I told you...
Kelly Taylor: I would have broken off the engagement a lot sooner then I did.
Dylan McKay: And come to me? Probably. You've been with me because you were mad at him. I didn't want that.
Kelly Taylor: So you were just going to sit back and watch me marry Matt, knowing he cheated on me?
Dylan McKay: You were committed to him.
Kelly Taylor: See? This is why this will never work out between us.
Dylan McKay: Why?

The Penultimate (#10.26)
6 August 2016 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

David and Donna continue really beautifully. I liked him writing her a message in the send, even though he misspelled her name. And I loved her proposing to him back. They are a cute couple and I like to see them together.

Kelly makes me mad. Her self righteous talk to Dylan at the end was so her. Everyone will be better off with somebody else. Both Matt and Dylan. And it is not surprising her close minded pea brain doesn't see that Matt was drugged and didn't intentionally cheat on her. One could say that it was still his fault if he took acid intentionally but this wasn't the case either.

Steve is now happy to be a stay at home dad but only for selfish reasons, before he was sexist not being happy for his wife. Hope Janet makes it in this paper.
