Storyline

After Brandon breaks up with Tracy, Valerie's meddling jeopardizes his future with Kelly when Val sends Kelly a phony letter from the departed Dylan to test her true feelings for Brandon. Meanwhile, Donna persuades Felice to accompany her to the KEG/ALPHA spring campus talent show, where she gets increasingly worried when a former boyfriend of Felice's (from the 'Things to Do on a Rainy Day' episode) shows up to accompany her. Also, Clare takes the stage to sing her favorite song on a suggestion from Steve, who thinks the idea's all wet when he hears her awful singing voice during rehearsals. Written by Yusuke Fukasawa

The Long Goodbye (#7.26)
25 April 2016 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Well, I love how manipulative Val is. The idea to write Kelly a letter from Dylan was genius. Too bad that it didn't work out. Kelly had a good excuse and Brandon believed it. Well, how couldn't he with her having the ring. I still wish Val will be able to beat Kelly on this show. Not that I care if she is with Brandon or not.

The show that they put together was a fun part of the episode. Donna and Steve being of changed gender and Canadian was hilarious. Clare's singing story was cheesy. And no matter how it ended it was kind of douchy of Steve to let her sing when he heard how bad she is. The scene in the room where he pulls down the blinders was too fun.
