Storyline

With the summer drawing to a close, Andrea and Brenda compete for the attentions of their drama teacher, Chris, who chooses the former over the latter, which puts a strain on their friendship. Meanwhile, Brandon finally buys his dream car, but finds "the fruit of his summer labor" sour when the car breaks down, gets impounded, and Jim gets angry at Brandon for the careless handling of the car's purchase. Brandon also goes to visit Nat at the Peach Pit to ask for his old job back as the place is under construction for a building expansion. Written by Anonymous

Pass, Not Pass (#2.6)
26 October 2015 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

The story about Brenda and Andrea fighting over Chris the teacher was a pretty good one. In their acting scene it seemed both of them acted even better than they did with their actual characters on the show. I was kind of hoping he will pick Andrea, she would deserve it. But the way it turned out I felt too bad for her, she would not deserve it.

Brandon's story about the car was frustrating. Not because it was bad but because the situation indeed was frustrating. Well it all turned out well and it is great that he got his old job back that we are so used to.

One great moment in this episode is to see Lucy Liu in her very first role as Courtney the waitress, years before her big break.
