Storyline

David and Mark throw a big party at their Hollywood Hills house, until a huge brush fire stops the party which brings back a bad memory for Kelly over the house party fire (back in Season 5) and puts Donna in jeopardy when she attempts to save a baby deer. Steve's flirtation results in serious consequences from Clare, while Brandon and Tracy become closer. Meanwhile, Kenny tells Valerie to keep distant from him while he is proceeding with the divorce from his wife. But when Valerie accidentally finds out that Kenny does not plan on leaving his wife, ever, out of respect for their six-year-old son, she later tells Kenny some unsettling news about her. Quotes

Valerie Malone: [Valerie walks in after spending a night with Kenny] Hi.
Brandon Walsh: You look awful. Who's the lucky guy?
Valerie Malone: Does it always have to be a guy?
Brandon Walsh: Well, let's see. You come in at seven in the morning looking like you've been up all night... looks like a guy to me.
Valerie Malone: It's Kenny, Brandon.
Brandon Walsh: Yeah, I already figured that. Did he leave his wife?
Valerie Malone: Not yet. But he's going to.
Brandon Walsh: And how long has he been telling you that?
Valerie Malone: These things take time.
Brandon Walsh: Haven't you ever watched a daytime soap opera, Val? He's never gonna leave his wife.

Housewarming (#7.6)
18 January 2016 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

An adventurous episode with a wild fire around the house where the party is. They just didn't have to bring those dramatic memories of Kelly about the house fire she was in. That was a bit annoying. Best thing is that Donna saved the little deer. I like it when they have animals on the show and especially when saving one is a good thing.

The Valerie story finally becomes interesting. Loved her getting pregnant. So what it will be now?.

And it seems we have some new relationships starting. Brandon, Kelly, Donna all met somebody in this episode. Will be hard to remember so many new faces and names at once. And I get that Clare wants to break up with Steve.
