Episode of "Granny and the Giant Jack Rabbit" on "The Beverly Hillbillies"-Season Two:1963-1964
17 February 2007 | by (Chapel Hill,North Carolina) – See all my reviews

The reason why this episode of "The Beverly Hillbillies"(which aired on January 8,1964)became one of the highest rated episodes ever watched in the history of television? It was just absolutely hilarious....The minute you see Granny(Irene Ryan)taking on a Austrailan Kangaroo, whom she mistakenly thinks its a giant jackrabbit is one of the most funniest moments ever. Seeing the outcome of it all is enough to drive anybody into laughing fits. You'll be crying laughing out loud at the hijinks that ensues next as we see Granny and the rest of the Clampetts go from one extreme moment to the next. It's just that funny. Highly funny.
