Once again it is clear no one has given the Clampetts a tour of their own home as well as how the appliances work.
So the Clampetts have not gone upstairs because they do not think it is part of their property.
Granny uses the pool water to do her washing. Elly May uses a tub in the middle of the room to do her bathing. Using soap that would be bad for her skin. Granny carries hot over from the kitchen.
Miss Hathaway points out that there is bathroom upstairs. While Jethro thinks that Miss Hathaway has the hots for him.
Back at the cabin in the country. Jethro's mum Pearl tries to make her way to Hollywood when a man from the oil company drops by.
The funniest part was Jethro and Jed having a heart to heart about ladies. It seems Jethro has never had a hormonal rush!
