If this is the Yule episode I just saw, I have to tell you how deeply moved I was by it. Bernie decides the kids do not appreciate Christmas and tries to get them to do some holiday things with him, like build a gingerbread house, drink his mama's egg nog and decorate the tree. Nothing goes right, and he decides to call off Christmas and takes all the decorations down. He dumps the kids' gifts on them, unwrapped, and he and Wanda take off to look at holiday lights. I wily not spoil the ending, but it is a heart drencher as the kids come to realize this has become like Christmas was in Chicago, sad and empty, albeit with some pretty nice presents. A must-see for fans of this show.
