Storyline

Shortly after womanizing financier Peter Hughes has disappeared, along with seventy thousand pounds from his firm, French Inspector Dupont asks Jim to identify a body in France, that of Jean Pichet. Pichet would appear to be Hughes, keeping two wives who know nothing of each other. But when the corpse is identified as that of a third person again, Jim and Inspector Dupont have cause to wonder why their man has the need to do a disappearing act. Written by don @ minifie-1

Goofs

Inspector Dupont describes the wife of the missing man as "distrait" (French for distraught). However, since she is female, a French speaker would have automatically used the female version of the adjective, "distraite", which is pronounced clearly differently (the letter T near the end is pronounced in the latter case, but not in the former).
