One of the great things about the genre of the sitcom is that someone can come in for a guest spot and completely steal the show.
And that is exactly what Steven Wright does here as Boyd Crossman, a man who believes he can hear God. Or Larry, as he calls him.
He completely steals the episode from underneath the noses of everyone else, and it's a joy to see.
Once again though this seemingly little sitcom manages to combine moments of great comedy with some genuine heart and depth that doesn't feel like it's being included just for the sake of it.
Another wonderful episode of a show that I believe deserves far more recognition than it gets.
