Hoff Tries To Re-live His Knight Rider Days
30 March 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Pursuit is the pilot of Baywatch Nights. In it,we get to see Mitch Buchanon start his career as a detective from being a lifeguard.

When a model named Cassidy received some murder threats, she decides to seek the help of Mitch,Garner and Ryan to act as her bodyguards. They were reluctant to do it at first due to the fact that it is completely different from their job as lifeguards. But they later decided to do it.Later, they realize that someone is trying to sneak into the model's house and write another message on the mirror. Then, they finally realized that Cassidy has become the next target of a man who is trying to kill models and who has done so in the past.Mitch and his crew decide to seek this person and bring him to justice.

The show started pretty good as shown by this pilot. We get to see some character development especially with Mitch who tries something different with what he used to do with that being a bodyguard/detective.Despite the fact that the show was simply out of its character from the original,it would have lasted more than two seasons if only there was more creativity in writing.Too bad that did not happen.David Hasselhoff would have been a good considering that he also did another successful action TV series in the 80's called Knight Rider. It was obvious that he tried to relive those days in it.
