Trivia

A comic story published to coincide with this series explains why Selina Kyle has black hair instead of blonde (as she did in 'Batman: The Animated Series'). Apparently, she's a natural brunette who used to die her hair blonde, until she found out her preferred brand of hair dye was tested on animals. See more »

Goofs

Although this is the same animated universe in which "Batman: The Animated Series" takes place, Catwoman is shown as a brunette, despite having been drawn in all her previous appearances as a blonde. See more »

The Cat and The Blackbird work great together

What a great episode, there's good humor, backstory, action, and twists all throughout. I like Catwoman's design in this more, it's a lot better than that gray suit she had in the last series. Also, Dick has more of a personality in this episode. I liked him in the last series as Robin, but he always kind of felt like an afterthought. Here they actually gave him an independent personality, he feels like he doesn't need Bruce anymore. Clearly they had some sort of falling out and haven't patched things up yet. Plus, now that Dick's older and has a little more of an edge to him, it works better for comedy. His slightly sarcastic sense of humor works perfectly with Catwoman's flirtatious attitude. And yeah sure, Selina's hair is a different color, big deal. Again something minor that people complain about to make themselves feel good. You do know that hair dye exists, right?
